Ahem, to inject a note of seriousness here. I find eating salty things is better than caffeine. Salt of course, raises your pulse rate and gives you a mild buzz that stops you from dropping off.

If you have the possibility of showering at your workplace, take it. A bit of luke warm water'll wake you up. Alternatively, have a shower just before you go to work.
