North London Red
So, a trip to the Reebok next season - I'd imagine a new ground for a number of City fans. Anyone on here go on our only previous visit, on a Tuesday night in 99? On a separate note we could be heading to Lancashire or Yorkshire nine times next season - Blackburn, Bolton, Burnley, possibly Blackpool if they lose next week, Leeds, Barnsley, Sheffield Wednesday, Hull and very possibly Sheffield Utd or Huddersfield. Some serious mileage there (and that's even before you add in Middlesbrough).
mcbcfc
Wasn't it a Friday night? I remember going but felt sure it was a Friday????? Suppose it was a long time ago so I may be mistaken.

Suppose it was a long time ago so I may be mistaken. The home game against them that season was Friday 23 October 1998, we won 2-1. The away game was Tuesday 13 April 1999, lost 1-0. chipdawg
I'm not gonna lie; Bolton and Blackburn coming down gives me a 2 more games to go to next season within 20 miles of where I live so I'm well happy
Keep the Faith
I know we lost but I enjoyed that trip! My stand out memory is singing Seebok at the Reebok can't remember too much about the nature of the game itself but it was a good evening out. The Bard
And Middlesbrough is also in North Yorkshire, so that could make ten. More pedantry. Middlesborough is in Teeside, just north of North Yorkshire. Minging place whichever county it's in.
BCAGFC
Anyone else on here make it? Yep, went by unofficial coach. Got in the restaurant/pub across the road from the stadium and managed to get back in there afterwards, they couldn;t get rid of us at closing time and had to get the bouncers involved. Ended up getting lost and trawling our way through Wigan searching for grub, eventually found a chip shop at 1am.......the owner was over the moon, 50 starving ciderheads ready to fil his till with cash. Those were the good old days. BCAGFC
CotswoldRed
Been to watch Bolton a few times as my inlaws are from that area. Don't really like the place. Bolton fans are generally sparse and quiet. The stadium is just part of an out-of-town shopping centre.

wembley87
Went in 1999 to Bolton in the April when lost 0-1 and that bloke who scored for them went on to join Chelsea. Have been to Blackburn once Jan 1992 lost 0-4 and we were 0-3 down at half time, will probable be a new ground for lots of City fans. Interesting how all three the teams coming down do next season as Wolves got new manager,Blackburn look like could do worse out the three and Bolton have Mciness mate in charge ! Hanhamreds
Been to the Reebok a number of times as my Wife is from the town, the last time I watched City there we lost 1-0, but we did eat in the VIP section and had Phil Neil on our table, I've even been in one of the boxes. I suspect this time I wil be in the away end though with my boy. It's normally a bit windy there as it's quite exposed, so take a coat - even in Aug!! I expect they will be favourites for a quick return if they can hang on to some of there players, and with debts of 110mil they need to.
