So can that be an end to the speculation of linking every Tom ,Dick Harry or Jock with CITY ? Unless ,of course that Jock already plays for a Top club in England. Exactly... from 'the TOP LEAGUES' not specifically, however, as written in your thread title. The wording 'top leagues' is what he said which suggests he could be looking at players only in the Championship because, by definition, he refers to the plural. Nicely worded by Del I thought.
