Dont shoot the messenger but i was told this by my friend in the pub yesterday who is a great friend of his Dads. I'm not convinced on this one - assuming the OP's story is true then maybe the Dad got the wrong end of the stick/had a slip of the tongue and meant Rovers and Swindon?
