Man City would not loan him to a PL team so rather than sit in the reserves he chose to play. Also the Championship is a better standard than MLS. This guy was an "All-Star" last night against Chelsea yet scored just 2 goals in 70 appearances in England (played for Fulham, Cardiff and Preston).
