Saintee
From an opposition point of view...... I thought the lad Cunningham looked pretty nervous and you could probably tell it was his first game for the club. Our wee winger was Keammar Daley on trial from Preston (where he is transfer listed) but he got the better of him on several occasions. Del actually struggled for a long time to find a decent left back at Saints. The year we won the league, we played with a left midfielder at LB for virtually the whole season. He tried bringing a few guys in on loan but they were all hopeless. Cunningham has a decent pedigree though. Morris was tidy but at Saints a lot of our play went through him and that was why he was so effective. Be interesting to see over the course of your pre-season if Del tries to do the same and get play going through Morris. He's excellent in possession and dictating play. Some of his best games for us were away at Celtic/Rangers where even then he managed to control the game. Anderson only got a few minutes. Thought Bolasie and Stead looked good. Still think Ricky Foster is some kind of joke. Was Del drunk? Our right back Dave Mackay is a miles better player and I'm convinced Del wouldn't have swapped Mackay for Foster at Saints.
