Lrrr Posted August 6, 2012 Report Share Posted August 6, 2012 Just throwing a name out there, no suggestion that we are after him, but if we were to miss out on players such as Baldock etc, but Stuart Beavon of Wycombe? Scored 20 goals in a relegated Wycombe side last year, and supposedly Millwall have had a £200,000 offer turned down as Wycombe want £350k for him (source admittidly being someone on another forum). But at 28 and someone who has scored 20 goals last season for £350k could be something to look at as a cheaper option for a 3rd/4th option striker. Scoring record to appearances not great at first sight however for the most part of his early time at Wycombe he was used as a supporting striker who grabbed one every now and then.
