Phileas Fogg Posted August 18, 2012 Report Share Posted August 18, 2012 Bearing in mind many in here (myself amongst them) were predicting a 2 or 3 goal deficit, I think we played ok to be farely even with Forest statistically and only edged out by the odd goal. Sounds like were weren't that bad but I guess it's difficult to judge how bad a result it is until we get an idea of how strong Forest are likely to be. HOWEVER, I really can't understand Del's lean selection. Fair enough, transfer business is not yet complete, but he played a team that was largely the same as last year, especially in the central and wide areas. I don't really understand why in a 451 and with Foster on the right, he couldn't have played Anderson on the left. I'm not 1 for ott Woolford-bashing but his only real strength is his tactical discipline and Anderson would surely have offered more of an outlet?
