Scouted by Robins Academy manager Willie McStay, the 19-year-old Manchester-born centre-back will feature in City's under-21 side this season. Released at the end of last season after three years at Parkhead, Jones was a member of the Celtic under-18 side that won the Scottish FA Youth Cup earlier this year."
