Apologies if an announcement has come and I missed it, but it looks very much like we miss out again. The club in the past can't wait to tell us about "fantastic news" that isn't very fantastic, so have we allowed another pay day to pass us by? There would be far too many complications in that sort of deal. How would City know that Maynard would want to leave the club, and how would they know there was a club willing to purchase him for more than the fee paid?
