according to our site,

Skuse is not as bad as feared and could be out for a month best case (the horror tackle)

Cunningham will have to wait on the swelling best case out for 2 or 3 months worst case alot more (the tackle peterborough fans thought was fine)

Scans due friday

Fingers crossed for both. Cunningham has been a revelation at LB and will be missed. Luckily we do have ample cover in the middle of the pitch.

Still don't know how they ended the game with 11 players.

I've got a nasty feeling yesterday will be the last time we see him this season, from the sound of it, its a broken ankle (6 weeks) with badly damaged ligimants (6-12 months)

Skuse was not one of the victims of a horror tackle! The injury he suffered was purely fluke and he has just been very unlucky.

All three x-rated 'tackles' were in the second half after we had taken the lead.

The first was performed by Little on Fontaine. The second by Barnet on Cunningham and the last one which wasn't as bad but still went over the top of the ball and certainly had intent to hurt in my opinion was performed by Tomlin on Davies.

Agreed, and Tomlins was purely cynical. He had the ball, Davies took the ball from between his legs, Tomlin complained to ref, got waved play on and then went after Davies. Pure intent so should have seen red

Ankle ligaments are dodgy things. I did mine and they never felt 'normal' ever again. Then I did them again, and it drastically affected the way I played from then on; some was bad - general mobility, pace - but some was good - learned greater balance, tended to stay on my feet much more. Anyway, I didn't have the benefit of professional injury specialists etc so maybe he'll (greg) come back the same player...

Just hope this doesn't stall our promising season.
