Bristol Half Marathon

Hi everyone!

I've organised a group of 16 of us (some have never properly ran at all until now) to run the Bristol half marathon next Sunday in memory of our friend Jack Boulton who died as a result of sudden cardiac arrest when playing football. The cause of this is unknown.

Please have a read on our virgin giving page as it gives more information about the boy Jack was. http://uk.virginmone...515&isTeam=true

We are running to raise money and raise awareness for the charity CRY. (http://www.c-r-y.org.uk/)

They've been really good for Jack's parents and we really want them to get more support!

Most relevant though is that they offer free heart screenings to people aged between 14 and 35 to try and detect potential problems with the heart.

If you follow this link http://www.c-r-y.org.uk/ecg.htm, then look at the dates and sign up to one if you can or click on the right hand side and just fill in your details and they will let you know when others become available.

I know this is probably on the wrong forum so feel free to move it but he was a City fan so I will put it on the main one!

If anyone else is running and would like to say hello before the race then please do! I think there will be a CRY tent at the event so if you're around then grab some leaflets!

If anyone is there on the day supporting someone then please shout for us too as there's a big chance some will need it!

Thanks.

Harry
