You have to ask the question why but seems as though the chairman is desperate to have him at the helm. Would this then secure a move back to the south coast for B Pitman? eric04
Best for both parties if he does. He could score ten for the reserves today and he still won't start for the first team vs Bolton.

Claverham_Red
Really don't understand this move back to Bournemouth for Howe.... if indeed it does happen. Yes, they have fairly rich owners now but Bournemouth are only ever going to be a Championship bottom half team at best. It's unlikely to happen again but Burnley had a short season in the Prem not so long ago, and who's to say they can't reach the play offs again & sneak through again? Especially with Austin banging in the goals. Really strange, backwards move for Howe if this happens. Never go back...?

The new chairman is minted, Burnley is a shithole.
eric04
It's for "family reasons" which certainly could translate as "my family don't like it up north!"

screech
Massive risk for him to take. Doesn't look great on the cv leaving a championship job half finished to go down a league back to the club you left. Young managers don't get many chances in the game to impress, if it goes tits up he may just regret this.

At the end of the day he now is back where he loves to be, being paid to be a football manager, a quality place to live, his family must be chuffed to bits No risk at all if im honest

Why would Sam want to leave the Prem go back to Bolton and I reckon Coyle could be a bet for Blackburn

Well for sure Eddie is a huge fan of Bret,s so it could happen. Wouldnt be suprised at all if a loan deal is done next week until January
Red_Mat
So... Howe back to Bournemouth, Coyle could return to Burnley, Allardyce could be lured back to Bolton, leaving West Ham open for 'Arry Surely one of the 'personal' reasons that have enticed Eddie Howe back to Bournemouth is the opportunity to work with Harry Redknapp? I can't see Jamie's dad going anywhere. He's got a top, top cushy little number there providing advice to the coaching staff, persuading top, top players to sign for them, conducting interviews hanging out of his car windiw on any subject that Sky Sports want to ask him about. That'll be his last job before retirement.
Swede
Howe doesn't care much for tupping sheep or would want his children growing up with webbed hands & feet learning to play the banjo, fair play to him. Coyle on the other hand . . .
