Steve wanted to move to the Channel islands, you can see why he stepped down as chairman. Surely it's better having someone who can be here 99% of the Time, than someone who cannot be here a lot. I don't think he has enough money to bribe FIFA to reopen the transfer window just to allow us to sign a centre back.... Also....have you heard of a little thing called the fair play rule....or a club called Portsmouth? You can't just go throwing money around willy nilly even if we wanted to. The right player is there somewhere, but our catchment pool is very small. No good brining someone in for the sake of it if they're no better than what we have. I now know we are going down again for another 9 years You know what's going to happen over the next decade? That's pretty impressive. If you could just give me the names of the next few F1 Champions that'd be dead helpful... And where does this weird idea that we only sign Scottish players come from?
