Esmond Million's Bung
Chelsea players are hardly trustworthy when it comes to matters of racism, they only hear what they want to hear and or change their statements to suit their needs as well. Super
fairly obvious to anyone who watched the game that Clattenberg lost it totally. his decision making was laughbale.
Andy082005
fairly obvious to anyone who watched the game that Clattenberg lost it totally. his decision making was laughbale. ....yeah...but not racist. Tne rumour is he said something along the lines of "get on with it you Spanish ****..." If this is true and he is punished for this, then players who constantly abuse referees should be instantly dismissed....zero tolerence. You see players like Rooney all the time on tv, clearly mouthing towards referees calling them "f*cking pr*cks" etc Football is turning into a joke, all thanks to knob heads trying to score petty points off of one another
Barrs Court Red
The game should be replayed if he is found guilty.

He probably has said this, but after the game he had i think it was fairly understandable.

Bryans Left Peg
I thought all the officials were wired up for coms, possibly recorded ? maybe there's a little black box ? It's not recorded, but the two linesman and the 4th official would have been able to hear what was said by the referee. What I find strange is that no players made a big deal of anything being said on the pitch at the time and only after the game when they had lost. Monkeh
fairly obvious to anyone who watched the game that Clattenberg lost it totally. his decision making was laughbale. the first red was a red the second looked like a yellow in real time only when you watched it at super slow motion at anohter angle (somthing Clattenberg doesn't have the luxuary of doing) did it show that very slight contact was made Torres didn;t help himself by going down like it was a roy keane tackle and fiegning injury for the next 20s until he reliesed he was the one being booked for simulation (somthing he did do with the fake injury) With reports of chelsea players trying to get into the ref's dressing room after the game I'm not suprised if he did react, The way players speak to and get away with it to ref's why can't they answer back? Even then, what message would that be sending out? That it's okay to repeatedly call someone a ******* ****, but totally unacceptable to, under extreme provocation, call someone a Spanish ****? Cunnyfunt
Maybe footballers would think twice about lambasting referees with profanities if it was possible to hear the ref just as in televised rugby games. Constant swearing and abuse would be slowly eradicated from the game as the ability to listen back to what was said could lead to match bans. Surely players would have enough sense not to be heard swearing their heads off for all to hear?... Then again maybe not.
Monkeh
only the captain should be able to talk to the ref and the player directly involved, how many times do you see chelsea players surround te ref trying to influance his call? if they booked everyone who wasn't permitted to talk to the ref it would stop for a time but you can't always do that

What if the captain was a goalkeeper and the incident was at the other end of the field? Surrounding the ref is wrong... but to what extent does this influence their decisions?
