the_real_city
I seen on the FL show yesterday that they have won all home games this season... what is our record for home league wins from the start of the season.
formerly known as ivan
Didn't we win 12 on the bounce when promoted under ward? Came to an end at Bournemouth in the cup?

Lack of Action Man
Pretty sure we won 11 on the bounce under Danny Wilson?
Peter O Hanraha-hanrahan
Pretty sure we won 11 on the bounce under Danny Wilson? Yes, I believe we did. However, I was under the impression that we hold the league record (with Arsenal) for most games won on the trot.....did I dream this or am I thinking of some other stat.?? EDIT...I didn't read the OP correctly.

SecretSam
Club record's 11 consecutive, I thought - a few managers have managed this, last being GJ in the first season in the CCC. We also won a shed load under Ward and Jordan, IIRC. It's not that rare for us to win 10 on the bounce in my experience, I've been watching City for c.30 years and we've done it 3-4 times. Mind you that's all games, home and away. Home wins, 9 on the trot? Probably did it under Cooper back in the 80s, the Gate was an absolute fortress then. Away from home we were woeful, however... I know i keep posting this but statto dot com is simply not good enough because it is generic probably. Why cant we have our own website , kit , pies etc. the internet particularly is such a t***t!
