Have We Ever Won 9 Home Games On The Bounce?

Pretty sure we won 11 on the bounce under Danny Wilson?

Yes, I believe we did.

However, I was under the impression that we hold the league record (with Arsenal) for most games won on the trot.....did I dream this or am I thinking of some other stat.??

EDIT...I didn't read the OP correctly.

Club record's 11 consecutive, I thought - a few managers have managed this, last being GJ in the first season in the CCC. We also won a shed load under Ward and Jordan, IIRC. It's not that rare for us to win 10 on the bounce in my experience, I've been watching City for c.30 years and we've done it 3-4 times. Mind you that's all games, home and away. Home wins, 9 on the trot? Probably did it under Cooper back in the 80s, the Gate was an absolute fortress then. Away from home we were woeful, however... :surrender:

That can't be right? Pretty sure we didn't win 11 consecutive home games that season, or 11 consecutive games of any kind.

Remember it well ...What a season that was!

Thanks for posting that. Please can you tell me wether there is a comprehensive city stats site with all games from every season line ups club records ,bookings most consecutive throwins corners nose pickings etc because if there isnt one then the club should b~~~~dy well do something about it and start being more visibly the custodians our not so illustrious history.

I know i keep posting this but statto dot com is simply not good enough because it is generic probably. Why cant we have our own website , kit , pies etc. the internet particularly is such a t***t!

A website would be good but there are 2 good books with all the info ''Bristol city A complete record 1894-1987'' by David m woods with Andrew crabtree then the follow up ''Bristol city the modern era A complete record 1967 - 2007 by David woods

Sadly no nose pickings included ;)
