Uncle Albert Posted November 20, 2012 Report Share Posted November 20, 2012 Interesting question this. We have Fontaine as our captain but before that we had Carey who, of course, still plays for us. We have also had Skuse and McManus captain the team. But, when I look at the signings we've made, thinking back, a lot of these signings have been captains of their previous clubs so why is it then, that we seem to have no leader whatsoever? I'd say Heaton is the closest thing we've got to a leader, but, look at the list and these are just off the top of my head: Fontaine - City Foster - Aberdeen McManus - Celtic Bates - Middlesborough Woolford - Scunny (I think - did you know he also has a degree in Civil Engineering!)
