The bid was for £205m, which is an automatic pre agreed release clause. Barcelone have no say in whether they accept or not as it is contractual. But fair play to Messi, even though he was offered £460k a WEEK he said "no". This would have worked out at £24m AFTER TAX per year !

Don't forget the tax for sportspersons in Spain is just something stupid like 12% - he doesn't get a raw deal at Barca!

Yeah. Every player in Spain has to have a minimum fee release clause. Ronaldo's is not far off of a billion.
