So, SL finally does the right thing and bins DMc, but who, in all honesty, is going to want the job. Is there anyone out there daft enough? Or should we just stick with Del, let him have January and see if he can play the same winning formation for more than one game. Sorry that this has evolved into more than one question!

Is this for football manager or something, be sensible, Gary Megson, whata man, relegation after relegation after consolidation. a look at the unemployed among us, Paul Hart,Andy Thorn, Steve Kean, Terry Connor,John Barnes and Ian Dowie, so we could be worse off. In all seriousness if Del is removed and Owen Coyle is still available I hope we at least ask.

Gary Megson (more promotions than relegation actually, relegated once from Prem with West Brom and got them straight back up)

O'Driscoll - works well in budget, great footy to watch, gets best out of underachievers

Billy Davies - Horrible Focker, but gets the best out of players and capable of motivating crap

3 names PERFECT for the job and all within reason
