Cheltenham born 18/19 yr old 6ft 2 DRC playing for Sporting CP reserves in Portugal's second tier i think. Had a loan spell at Everton last season but didnt play. Sounds a decent prospect. Olé Posted January 5, 2013 Report Share Posted January 5, 2013 Captained Sporting's youth team at every level, played for England youth and I think touted for the 21s - Portugal also courted him to switch associations. Rated two years ago as a prospect for Chelsea. Everton have been after him although I lost touch with his career a while back so wasn't aware he ever went there. Much as I despise the lizards at Sporting, sounds quality enough, although at this stage as great as Caulker was I'm really not sure our defence needs fancy young boom-or-bust prospects, as much as it does an experienced Shaun Taylor type first ball / row Z type centre back.
