IM sure if del thought he would make a difference and the wages were right signings like this would be made on shorter contracts and what have you. formerly known as ivan Posted January 12, 2013 Report Share Posted January 12, 2013 With the new transfer policy it seems quite obvious that we are looking to buy younger players at a decent price to be able to sale at a profit in future years. Therefore, although 29 is not old, it is in terms of what we are trying to achieve. Tabb would have had a wage increase when reading got promoted and the fact that we could get relegated and be stuck with wages, with little chance of selling on, means this would be a no go. But he hasnt got EXPERIENCE, Its good signing younger players, but you still need that bit of know how. Look at Derek he is learning, thats why we are where we are.
