chinapig Posted January 12, 2013 Report Share Posted January 12, 2013 I posted during the game that if it is indeed the case that Steve will stick with his man regardless then it follows that he is prepared to accept relegation. If that is the case he must believe that is a financially sustainable position and that the impact on fans is neither here nor there. He must also make the usual naive assumption that the club will bounce back immediately. Seems inconceivable to me but it appears to follow logically. If relegation is an acceptable part of the alleged long term plan then supporters are entitled to be told. But of course respect for supporters is not a conspicuous feature of the BCFC mindset, cosmetic consultation exercises notwithstanding. Mind you, Millen was also Steve's boy but he had to bow to the inevitable so there may be hope yet. Holding your breath is not advised however.
