IF you say we need 50 points for safety that is 7 wins, 7 draws, 6 defeats though we might perhaps get away with a point or two less.

Top 8 teams

Cardiff A

We have to at least win one of our 3 home games and maybe get a couple of draws. Target 5 points (1w, 2D)

Middle 8 teams

Forest H

Burnley A

Leeds A

Derby A

B'burn A

Charlton A

B'pool A

Bolton H

With 6 on the road we need at least 1 away win and some draws. Target 9 points (2W, 3D)

Bottom 7 teams

With 5 of the 6 teams around us at home we have to deliver here. Nothing less than 4 wins will do. Target 13 points (4W,1D)

It looks tough but is just about possible if we can get a new manager and central defender in ASAP. Certainly can't afford any time for the new guy to get his feet under the table.

The key will be the home form - getting the fans on side and keeping a clean sheet!
