It sounds to me that he gave Jon Lansdown (and whoever he met) a tough interview before accepting. He acknowledged staying up was a given but was pressing them on what vision they had for the club and what steps they had already taken to move them on this path. Obviously he realised what a strong position he was in going into the interview and wanted to make sure he heard what he wanted to hear. I can only imagine the answers from Blackpool weren't as convincing or as credible. Thanks for posting the link CR For my money all the interesting stuff was edited out from the piece that went on air as the sound bites they used were pretty predictable.
