Mick Harford had an eventful transfer day back in 1982. Others may be aware of this, and although I remember watching Big Mick with fondness, and remember as a young one him stopping to speak to myself, my friend and my sister underneath the Williams stand after a match, spending time with us (not just a quick autograph and then off to the bar for a drink- although I am sure he had a few :laugh:) I never realised this happened.
