Scrumpy_247
I was quite impressed with Moloney's debut yesterday, I thought he did his job very well and did well getting forward as well. Would you play him ahead of Foster judging by yesterday's performance?
Kid in the Riot
Are you kidding? Moloney every time.
formerly known as ivan
Not really even a decision in my book. Would play my nan over foster at right back!
Bowie
EVERYTIME without doubt. Foster hasn't impressed ONCE for me, never understood the signing and rated him lower than Joe Edwards. Sooner he's moved on the better, one of the many McInnes mistake signings Maloney looks, solid, strong, capable of defending attacking, nothing outstanding, just a solid defender, which is what we've been lacking. East end Forever
moloney and i havent even seen him play
Chappers
Moloney definitely better defensively, but that's not exactly an achievement. Not going overboard though, he was OK, one good run, caught out defensively a few times, let's not go overboard until we see how he performs over a few games. cider-manc
Moloney is solid if unspectacular. Just what we need at the moment.
Rocking Red Cyril
solid enough performance but not match fit
Puckle_red
I'd prefer Sean O'Driscoll to play rather than Foster in any position. Moloney was tidy.
BristolBEAT
Odd running style. But was solid defensively. That's what I want from a defender. Someone who can defend..
City As F
Maloney every time. Really do not rate Foster, shouldn't even be on the bench.
mcbcfc
Foster will start at right wing Tuesday if Killkenny isn't fit
redcherryberry
Weve not had a RB who can defend his post since Bradders left. Maloney will make a huge difference for us.
CiderArmyy
maloney, nothing spectacular but you don't really need to be at RB. Didnt back off like foster.. doesnt just woosh it up into the air ala foster.

Bristol Rob
I was quite impressed with Moloney's debut yesterday, I thought he did his job very well and did well getting forward as well. Would you play him ahead of Foster judging by yesterday's performance? I'd play Joey Deacon in front of Foster at the moment.
BCFC96
you can't make a judgement after seeing Moloney play 1 game, Moloney started slowly then picked it up and played consistently.
ron10bc
Moloney looked well up for the fight too!!
Bristol Rob
I'd play Joey Deacon in front of Foster at the moment. Although to qualify that, I don't mean I'd have Joey on the wing as an outlet for Foster, I mean that I'd select Deacon to play rather than Foster. Just in case you were in any doubt. TBW
Bit of an obvious answer here. Was there ever any doubt at the response?

Bristol Rob
not really..but everyone needs to moan about foster, it's part of life. Yeah, but if his surname was Natch, 'Thorn or Thatcher's Gold he'd get a much easier ride. Maybe if he were to change his name he'd become a cult favourite. Sleepy1968
Not really even a decision in my book. Would play my nan over foster at right back!If shes recovered from her op then why not give SOD a bell? As long as she's not too greedy she ought to get a contract til the end of the season. Who knows where that could lead?
footie
Enjoying the fact I posted a Ricky foster thread on the day SO'D was appointed wondering how long it would take for him to realise one of the main weak points in the team, glad he's seen fit to bring in an adequate replacement. Foster should never be more than back up again.
Redtucks
Not really even a decision in my book. Would play my nan over foster at right back! I'd play Joey Deacon in front of Foster at the moment. .....with Rocky's 86 year old nan ("Liam Fontaine" - post 53), that means we only need one more and our defence is sorted!!! Red-Robbo
Although to qualify that, I don't mean I'd have Joey on the wing as an outlet for Foster, I mean that I'd select Deacon to play rather than Foster. Just in case you were in any doubt. Well Deacon has bags of experience, is always moving - in very unpredictable ways and is, of course, a fabulous dribbler. His being dead should be no bar to being selected ahead of Ricky Foster.

Bert's City
Definitely send Foster back to Scotland, Maloney looked comfortable but too early to judge he had a good debut thou.
