Swede Posted February 12, 2013 Report Share Posted February 12, 2013 I expect the Pools defence is quaking in it's boots (or pi55ing itself with laughter) at the thought of those two up front for pompey. I can't recall ever seeing someone move slower than Agyemang & how he ever scored from a header I can't work that out, considering the rather dense lard store that is his backside following him 5 seconds later. I still can't work out how he scored against us for QPR a few seasons ago, it must have been sheer luck. Akinde, from what I gather, has been running his contract down at Crawley and is now facing the inevitable and that is a shame. I do hope for his sake he can score. pongo88 Posted February 12, 2013 Report Share Posted February 12, 2013 Akinde has to come good soon surely?! I think he will. He showed a lot of promise when at City but seemed to lose his way. Probably not Championship standard but should still be able to do a job at league 1 level. Hopefully, for him, playing for a team that seems to be doomed may mean he can play with a nothing to lose attitude which might bring back the goals.
