TRL
Two stonking goals. Cracking 35 yard free kick by Bale and a superb strike from some dude I've never heard of from Lyon. Yet again Lyon are give youth a chance with some experience around them. Looks like they have yet more talent coming through

Pretty damn impressive. One of those strikes, when you hit it, you barely feel the ball leave your foot. Perfect strike.

Guest
Is Bale the 3rd best player in the world? Not sure about that but he's got to be in the world class bracket.. If he carries on the form he's had in last 10-12 games then maybe

Didn't he go 25 off games without being in a winning team? After that he suddenly started the transformation!

bristol_yid
As a Spurs (and City) fan, I makes me delighted to see the way that Bale has, since the (false) diving claims, let his incredible talent do the talking. Unlike Suarez, who I really dislike and would love to see the back of, and we regularly see him rolling around throwing his arms around in dispute of referees' decisions, which is a shame as he does have bags of talent. Bale's now firmly in the world class bracket and if he continues improving at this rate then, who knows where he's going to end up!
