Night84
Apologies for banality of this question but do the official SMS texts come out of your text allowance or are they charged extra to your bill? For those who have contacted mobile phones with text allowances.
Dollymarie
When I used to have the service, I was charged I think 20p per text
JonPikeUK
Definitely charged extra. I have ditched the service as found that if you install twitter and set up notifications for "@bcfctweets" then you get the alerts and they're free (assuming you have enough data allowance)
the_real_city
I got bored reading so didn't get the question.

For those who have contacted mobile phones with text allowances. I might appear a little daft here but how would text messages you're receiving come out of your text allowance? I presume that the company that sends the messages out charges you per text. Really not worth bothering with as any news via official text is here or on twitter within 30 seconds anyway! Night84
Grand, thanks for the info. I'll look into setting up notifications from bcfctweets only.
Glastonbury Red
Best thing to do, as I've done, set up a twitter account and follow the officia Cityl feed. Go to the settings and arrange for twitter to text you anytime City post anything. Completely free and very handy for the match updates.
Tins
I'm now following BCFCtweets on SMS Notifications thingy, meaning I'll get a text when they tweet. Does anyone know if this is free?
