screech
Kick it up, kick it as hard as you can up in the air, there may be a couple of your team mates within 10 yards of you, but ignore them. Is this two touch football on a different level, trap and whooooooosh it high and long.
Jordan Tansley
Away to the team top of the division by a country mile with countless injuries to our midfield and strikeforce. It's logical that we might be forced to go a bit direct with the likes of Elliot and Stead forced to start and no Baldock, Skuse, Kilkenny (fully fit) but lets moan about our club (bottom of the division) losing away at the side running away with the division. zzz
Busterrimes
I gave up watching at half time as the Whooshball (calling it football would be to breach trade descriptions) was so dire.

Does it say anywhere you are not allowed to pass the ball to your own team without belting the ball forward. Whether you are playing top or not, the football can still be passed along the ground to team mates.

Have you seen him for the past 3 years!? Marv is finished and has been for so long now.
screech
You think we should go toe to toe with their midfield? Have you seen Marvin Elliot recently? Toe to toe? When they have the ball we are closing them down, when we have the ball, I do expect tier 2 footballers to be able to pass a football to one another and find a bit of space. It doesn't have to be Barcelona type football, but a succesful half a dozen 5-10 yard passing move occasionally should be well within a tier 2 footballer. Instead we have been hammering way over the forwards head, or not even in their direction. pointless, utterly pointless.

Even though its not our first choice team, the players should be capable of doing this surely. The most bizarre thing of all though is that when our strikers and midfield go to press the ball, our back 4 are still 25 yards inside our own half. You just can do that, it's a waste if time if you don't do it as a unit.

fka dagest
I believe our habit of punting long balls is simply a consequence of having too many players who aren't technically good enough. I hope this something SOD will address.
BS34Red
I thought we were showing signs of progressing into a passing side, ok there was a few long balls but most of the time the players looked to pass it from the back. But lets not let what actually happened get in the way of a reason to moan.

Dust ourselves off ready for Palace.
