Keepers Ball Posted March 9, 2013 Report Share Posted March 9, 2013 over the years ive slated Elliott as in my opinion only good for one season. bouts of injuries and then when fit not being the player we had in our first year in this division. Always believed we should have got shot at least 3 years ago... ...well I hold my hands up. These past couple of months Elliott has been a revelation. Worked his damn socks of and his aerial ability has been a big plus. Hats off to Nyatanga too. Even would sigh when his name was mentioned but we are now actually seeing him play VERY well along with Fontaine who has got his confidence back. On top of a couple of good signings with Maloney and Kelly we have in my mind, suddenly acquired three good players. Seems as thought his job is to break up play and get it onto another midfielder, where as before he would try and keep going with it.
