Taking arbitrary figures for the nine games left of Win 4 Lose 4 and Draw 1

that would give City 52 points.

Enough to stay up or enough to get relegated!

I think we need 5 wins to be safe but we really don't know for sure

could be more but obviously could be a lot less.

And that is why following City is so much fun. :D

I'd happily swap all the fun we've enjoyed over the last 2/3 seasons for a boring season that ends with a play off final.

I think it is quite possible that someone could go down with 53 points this year, though I'd be surprised if it was more than that. I'm therefore working to 54 points as what guarantees safety - anything less might not be enough. I agree then that 5 wins, or 4 wins and 3 draws, is what is needed.

So where might they come from?

Wins:

Derby (a)

Sheff Wed (h)

Bolton (h)

Huddersfield (h)

Draws:

Wolves (a)

Birmingham (h)

Defeats:

Burnley (a)

Hull (a)

Which means that it could very well all come down to Charlton on the last day...

people are saying our run-in is easier than our rivals, but having a look at Wolves,Barnsley and Peterborough fixtures i just dont see it...for starters five of our last nine are away...the way its shaping with great form being shown here at the bottem we cannot just rely on the hope of home wins-were gonna need a rabbit out of the hat on the road somewhere down the line....
