REDPJ Posted March 15, 2013 Report Share Posted March 15, 2013 Years ago, my dad got Alan Dicks to send Alan Skirton and Jack Connor down to Burnham on Sea to judge a talent contest. I was a teenager at the time at nearly fell over when I answered the phone one evening to hear: 'Hello, this is Jack Connor from Bristol City ringing to sort the arrangements for the talent show' Thought it was a wind-up! Never got anyone from City to present at a grass roots club (as said in an earlier post, June isn't a great month) but did get Jack Stephens (Southampton) one year and Mickey Evans (ex-Plymouth) the next. BS4 on Tour... Posted March 16, 2013 Report Share Posted March 16, 2013 We had Trevor Tainton present our trophies when i was a nipper and City were a top flight team.
