wayne allisons tongues
For all the people who say we should play 2 up front, last nights performance summed up why we don't. We just don't have the midfielders available to play that formation. Credit to sod for going there and trying to get a result but unless we have that middle 3 out team is just torn apart. Was there last night and result wasn't due to a lack of effort just the formation was all wrong. I hope we go 451 Monday and grind out a result and bring back Kelly and Pearson for skuse is no rm and Anderson can go back to the left. Just like to say support was great last night and derby fans were so quiet, as the chant went it was like being in a library. But I think the cheering of a shot on target took it to far and Anderson looked destroyed to look up and see the fans cheering a shot. He stood there for 5 seconds in a state of shock. Just hope it hasn't ruined his confidence.
Maltshoveller
Agree with you that our midfield is not strong enough to play 4-4-2 Problem we have is at present we dont have a forward who can play up front on his own so 4-5-1 is out as well
Tales From The Front
Also agree, and the player we have that makes the one up front so effective is injured!
Red-Robbo
... apart from the times we've played it and won. Apart from those times.
Dolmanator
442 is very outdated, I can't really think of a top side who plays it anymore
