Fuber
... At least we can take some things with us even if we do get relegated, ie. better infrastructure (financial and scouting), we have a manager who can spot a decent player without spending a bucket-load, and decent players coming through the academy ie. Bryan, Burns, Morrell, Krans, etc. We can also get rid of the dead wood, and allow SoD to coach players into his system instead of having to try and sure up a team with a fairly squalor midfield half way through a season. And hopefully in years to come we WON'T miss out players like Butland or Nathan Dyer in the future
Sleepy1968
I agree there are a lot of positives to take forward. If we stayed up (ok, stay up for the eternal optimists) there might be more pressure to retain the services of some seasoned pros. Relegation might afford us the chance to rebuild properly, or a bit more thoroughly at least.
foghornred
Yes if and when we go down some of our 'better' players will go and as income is a lot lower we must give the youngsters a chance. We must also not expect us to bounce straight back, its time for a reality check.
