miketh2nd Posted April 4, 2013 Report Share Posted April 4, 2013 Happen to come across a interesting article on him (link below) He seems to be Finally finding his feet, no this isn't a thread on should we sign him etc. Just a general interest in a player who seemed to have such a bright future and yet wigan seemed to be paying way over the odds at the time still. Yes he's in league one but he's not been consistent team for a while so now he's at Doncaster seems to have settled. 20 assists and 10 goals isn't bad at all even just in league one! I always remember after the Northampton game live on sky the bidding war started. First it was a million pound move which turnt into a 2million pound move to Wigan. Still reckon in a couple years he will be at a non league team Zero chance of that happening. Been Donny's best player this season and didn't do as badly in the Prem as a lot like to make out. He also had a good spell at Swansea before getting injured. A decent player that could easily do a job for us now. 10 goals and 20 assists is a fantastic return for the season. Assists are often over looked but are hugely important. It's been a long time since we had a player capable of producing that many assists in a season!
