BS34Red
Any coincidence that since he's left things have gone dramatically down hill since his departure which ultimately has seen us relegated. Would things be this bad with him still in charge?

downendcity
Bigger coincidence is that things seems to have gone downhill since SL stepped down as Chairman and moved to Guernsey.
Admin phantom Posted April 16, 2013 Admin Report Share Posted April 16, 2013 Things were a mess whilst he was in charge - It was when the approachable club disappeared

eric04
Not sure how it's Colin's fault. He didn't appoint the managers.
Maltshoveller
Colin Sexton The reason i stopped going to city after 32 years of watching
havanatopia
Probably a bit unfair on the bloke since he was always going to be on a hiding to nothing following in the footsteps of SL. That said I was never a fan.
Aizoon
Colin Sexton The reason i stopped going to city after 32 years of watching Seems a bit excessive, given that you can't even spell his name.

Maltshoveller
Care to elaborate as to why? Told him what he could do with it

Come back to the gate next season with renewed hope It isn't about the backroom staff or even the players,it's the club we love p.s you could always catch a lift from bridgy with me

Come back to the gate next season with renewed hope It isn't about the backroom staff or even the players,it's the club we love p.s you could always catch a lift from bridgy with me Thanks for the offer but After a while i stopped missing going I spent £3000/3500 a season watching city (tickets trains beer etc) Have found other things to spend the money on

Time was when the football was the cheapest option on a Sarurday afternoon. Now it's one of the most expensive. P1ss a fan off then, and they'd eventually come back. Do it now, and he's gone for good

Are you joking .Sexstone was a clown and contributed fully to the mess this club is in.Also instrumental in signing McInnes

I made a similar saving in time and money after the Millen appointment which I never understood. I felt I'd been sold a ST on a false prospectus of ambition under Coppell...and have never bought another. It's been frighteningly easy to go from 38 games in 2008/09...with all my kids along for much of the ride...to absolutely none this season.
