i hate you butler
will they be liable for the same financial restrictions as everybody else ie ffp? or they keep getting their parachute payments and are exempt from any ffp therefore giving em a head start over everyone else? pride of the west
i think ffp will be in place for them but the paracutte payment will be more than our turnover. so they will have a massive advantage over everyone
CheddarReds
yeah, we were talking about this the other day. with FFP and parachute payments of 80M or so in a few years there will be half the champ who are struggling and the other half will be on parachutes splashing cash about. Son of Fred
the parachute money goes into the earnings pot of which they will be allowed to use 60%..of course, their 60% will be massivly larger than anyone elses!..will be quite an advantage at league one level and dont see they would have too many excuses not to bounce straight back. shaner89
i think ffp will be in place for them but the paracutte payment will be more than our turnover. so they will have a massive advantage over everyone i think you are spot on there, FFP states they cannot pay more than 60% of their turnover on wages, but as they will have the parachute payments still, their income with be significantly more so they will be able to afford the players demanding the higher wages.
