RedM
It's been a long time since I read the book too. From memory I got the feeling he had friends and family back in Cardiff and socialised with them. He isolated himself from the clubs players on the whole and they in turn largely isolated him. He never really fitted in and that itself added to pressures he was experiencing. I must dig the book out and read it again. It was quite emotional and I remember just wanting to give him a hug. I'm glad things are on the up for him and he is settled again now. I hope he has some good memories of his time here and that emotion rush goal against Hartlepool will live with me forever. AshtonGreat
I've read his and Trundles book, I've gotta admit, Roberts book was brilliant and the best of them both! Trundle's got a book? Whatever for?
