GrahamC Posted May 23, 2013 Report Share Posted May 23, 2013 Does anyone else find it odd that it still doesn't seem 100% clear who was released and who was kept on from the development squad? The retained list that came out a few weeks ago made it clear on the fate of the likes of Gerken and Bates but no-one seems completely sure what happened regarding Amadi-Holloway who signed a one year deal last summer but who has been injured for most of this season. He wasn't listed as released (the way Lewis Carey was) but likewise we weren't told he was getting a new deal, either. Other development squad players who have left such as Curtis Jones and Nathan Battersby have said so through social media sites with nothing official ever coming out. That leads on to the futures of Tom King, the Aussie left back and even Toby Ajala, I assume the latter is staying with us because he was involved in the first team late last season, but nothing has actually been said on their contract situations.
