stephenkibby.
with skybet were outright 2nd favs at 8-1 with wolves at 4s! in the championship, bournmouth are as low as 16-1,(even with a div1 striker) or you could have yeovil at 250-1! now that would be a punt. Corleone
The reason Bournemouth's odds are low is 1)momentum, 2) the compact nature of the league.....the fact Palace got promoted when they were odds on for relegation afer 3 games highlights this. Peter O Hanraha-hanrahan
If we are still 2nd favourites after 20 games of the new season I'll be very happy. Unfortunately we're not even in June yet. It's just like the last time we were in League 1.
DancinDannyD
Odds mean nothing at this time of the (close) season, most squads are a long way off being finalised yet. This reflects City's spending power as an ex-Championship club and SOD's reputation more than anything else. As Ted says above, if you're still 2nd faves after 20 games then you'll have had a great start and can start to 'always believe' ..
TBW
Odds mean nothing at the moment. Barely anyone has signed anyone yet. Give it a break.
GoingUp
They just seem to be going by the crowd sizes which should give an advantage to those sides with the new financial rules.wolves lg1 portsmouth lg2 and I would imagine the relegated clubs with the parachute payments in the championship would be at the top of the betting.very rarely works out that way though does it.
