Eco
The current TMS line up, excluding Michael Vaughan, is on a par with the greats imo. Really miss Richie.

And Its Smith
I agree about Vic Marks, he's great. CMJ is very sadly missed. I just wish the radio coverage was in time with the TV so I could have best of both worlds.
Super
Loved Brian Johnston back in the day such an amazing commentator as was CMJ. Richie was never on TMS was he?
Eco
Loved Brian Johnston back in the day such an amazing commentator as was CMJ. Richie was never on TMS was he? Not sure, he was on the prog last night though. They talked a lot about Aggers' legover comment which, although amusing, probably didn't warrant 15 minutes. Aizoon
John Arlott was the best of all. According to Sir Vivian in "Hitting across the line", it was Arlott's commentaries on TMS that convinced him to go for cricket rather than football. " a comprehensive piece of dentistry" and "it's a freaker, there's a freaker on the pitch, it's male and it's seen the last of it's cricket for the day !"...classic
Aizoon
McGrath walks slowly back to his mark as the seagulls gather at deep mid-off. He turns, runs up to bowl, bowls - and Boycott plays a forward defensive to a straight good-length ball. McGrath fields and starts his long walk back. The sun continues to shine on the WACA and the seagulls at deep mid-off are unmoved.
