DancinDannyD
It's a fcuking fix!!!!! Bloody **** take ? Does it really matter, you're going to walk L1 as it's a p*ss poor league (apparently) so Gills away should hold no fears, surely? Save the better draws for the later rounds
RedM
Didn't they knock us out last year, or was it Brentford/Barnet as it usually is?
Eagle Eyed
Didn't they knock us out last year, or was it Brentford/Barnet as it usually is? Gillingham home, 2-1 loss. Think we had 1 shot and it was a Marv header?
timothy bird
Why would it be fixed for us to play away to gillingham? Anyway the footballing gods have given us many very winable ties that we have spectauarly fcukd up! Southend barnet are 2 out of many that spring to mind! RedM
I still shudder and think of Pullis and Scully when I heard Gillingham mentioned.

Taylor10
What a horrible draw. That's a tough tie. Fingers crossed though....a win on the opening day and a win at the Gills to get out of the blocks flying isn't too much to ask is it!?

Robin101
Sinks in how far we've fallen when everyone fears the mighty gillingham.
RedM
I don't think we fear them as such. More the fact it's a 170 mile trip across the country on a weekday evening. Not going to be cheap or attractive to many, considering who we could have drawn. The only fear is that we are in a habit of first round exits and we could loose to just about anyone. But that's a mental thing that SoD will be addressing as well as adding new players who aren't used to losing, eg Flint.
Kid in the Riot
They should split the draw into 4 regions ie south-west etc Gills v City completely defeats the object of a regional draw. We might as well of had Sheff Weds away... Shit draw.
CardiffCityFan
Newport for me seeing as they are our biggest local rivals that we can possibly draw from the hat.

pride of the west
My post was tounge in cheek seeing as we could have drawn the gas. But you are right to laugh as it is the situation we find ourselves in. However I still prefer our situation to yours and support a club that isnt the butt of all jokes within the football league.
