Lrrr
The striker everyone thought would be moving to the championship has instead moved to Brentford. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/23127581 Missed opportunity? Would have fitted with the philosophy we're trying to put into the club and would have been a free transfer. Would like to have thought we would have enquired, even if we were told no or couldn't match what he wanted.
Kid in the Riot
I think it's a simple case that our priorities lied elsewhere ie the defence. And of course we have been hamstrung by the FFP rules.
eric04
That's a real shame. What a signing for Brentford. They will be dangerous this year.

Wonder if the club know if Nyatanga is re-signing or not, if they know he isn't Grigg's league 1 wages surely would be covered by the amount we were paying Tangs in the championship? Unless we've used those elsewhere.

Lrrr
Brentford have also got George Saville on loan from Chelsea, remember seeing his name crop up on here before. As well as a few other players they have signed, should be a good side next season.

I expect them to make play-offs again.
