Negan
Taken from Not606 http://www.not606.com/showthread.php/221494-Albert-Adomah-to-Millwall Don't think it would be a great move on Albert's behalf but if they are willing to pay the money then we've no choice. Can't see him even talking to Millwall though, Surely he is clever enough to realise staying put with us would be a better option than to go to Millwall who will probably be hanging around the relegation zone again. Still London roots maybe persuade him to make the move... Thoughts?

Evander SnowyField
We need him to sign a new contract or we are gonna have him linked away constantly until the season starts. If crap like millwall are in for him then he's better off staying here
Negan
If he went to Millwall how funny would it be if we went up and Blackpool, Millwall and Ipswich went down? We could wave to our past players who thought it would be better to jump ship

redeye
Surely not a good move for Albert and haven't seen anything about him being unsettled in the west country. As for the fee - a million too low. Stay for a season in League One Albert - enjoy the promotion - then enjoy being part of a vibrant team in the top half of the Championship. Taylor10
Can't see it. They won't be able to afford our asking price. Even so I don't for one minute believe he would go there. Would be a very poor career move, even if he could play higher.
EDoubleD
He's a london lad, so them over wigan, he might well go. Think london teams dont need to offer as higher wages as the quality of life for a footballer is better. That's why sunderland always pay massive wages to make up for the fact the places isn't the best. I'd like him to stay, but he won't and SoD doesn't want him, so he needs to move on and we need the money to continue the rebuild. Just hope one of these rumours might one day actually be true. True, not a lot of appeal about Wigan as a place. But they are ex prem and under Coyle he could flourish and play in a style that suits him. Millwall won't be able to afford him though. Wigan was the home of Northern Soul - Wigan Casino was voted the best nightclub in the world by Rolling Stone magazine when Studio 54 was going. Mind you that was about 35 years ago. Lot better than Burnley, Preston and Blackburn by a long stretch.

Had we been able to assemble a half decent side to play alongside Albert Adomah then we'd still be a Championship club. To me, Albert Adomah was the lone emerging star amongst a host of lacklustre BCFC players over the past few seasons.

samo II
Millwall have lost a very good boss to Wolves and would be ny bet to come down next season. Wolves have gained and Milwall have lost out IMHO. This. How people can say they think Millwall will do well when they have the boss McInnes replaced (less successfully) at St. Johnstone is beyond me. With the exception of Steve Morison the players they have brought in (McDonald, Bailey, Chaplow) are all also rans at the a level, two of them let go by a massively under performing Boro team, the other nearly out of the game with injuries. If Lomas can come how improve on them where Jackett, who is far more experienced, couldn't then hats off to him, but think Albert moving there would be a reductive move for him. On the other hand either Leicester or Wigan, regardless of location, would prove logical career choices. and if they can stump up a million (and shaprish please, wee need a forward) then good luck to them and him. Plus, if we got a million and even half of that and the Davies fee was made available to purchase a replacement and/or forward, we'd be crazy not to go for Wells at Bradford. If nothing else takes him out of play before the opening day.
GrahamC
Don't think he'll go to Millwall but I do think he'll be elsewhere by Saturday. If I had to guess I'd say Reading. With decisions to make on Pack, Harewood and another striker likely to be on the way in (Afobe?) then it is going to be a busy week.
