Padlad
Not just because of the turmoil Coventry are in. I see Northampton are playing there on Saturday and then we are playing on Sunday, come November you can imagine that pitch being a right state, which wouldn't suit our game at all, However at the moment imagine its will be in pretty good nick. gordie
On that point of 2 teams playing on the same pitch when are the egg chasers starting to play at the Gate is it this season or next?
Major Isewater
Will watch with interest ,in recent history it's a dead cert for City to blow the opportunity to add to another team's misery. Are we the new mean, lean winning machine?
CheddarReds
Hopefully that rugby lot don't mess up the pitch to much when they join us at AG
dilligaf
Looking at the fine job the groundsmen did with the pitch last week it would be a crime to play rugby on it.
pride of the west
I dont think it will matter. Any points earned will be chalked off when they fold in couple of months anyway.
RedM
When we share with he rugby we will have prepared with this in mind, no expense spared. Northampton didn't know until quite recently they would need a pitch of a quality that would be able to play at least double the amount of games on it. I doubt if they had the time, the resources, or even the quality to start with to make it work.
ciderbeans
When the rugby play at ours, we will have a different type of pitch that doesn't wear so the rugby won't affect it. Should not be an issue
Chappers
Might be a bad time, with the Cov players having a point to prove, and coming together in adversity. We'll know at 5pm on Sunday

Red_Jim
I don't think is going to be easy on Sunday. It looks like the attendance will be between 1,000 and 2,000 - it's going to be a really strange atmosphere to play in. Playing a team in adversity is tricky, but I'm not sure how this situation is going to affect both teams. Either way, it's a sad mess that Coventry are in, and I feel genuinely sorry for their supporters.
