Bazooka Joe
Just finished reading this Man City legend's autobiography. He revealed that before he went to Man City, he was invited to go for a trial with Bristol City reserves, but declined. Another of those what might have been things. Aizoon
He was friends with Mr. Einstrager. They were the best of mates. Where did you get that autobiography? There was a strong feeling at the time that two Germans wouldn't have been accepted by the fans, although Alex became a fans' hero eventually. redysteadygo1
Mr Aizoon and Darobinwillrise, I think we mean Alec Eisentrager. Yes well liked and not a bad player. Think his son rose to the dizzy heights of playing for Cleevedon Town FC.
