He's apparently done well in the SPL, which is a similar standard to where we are now, so I'm not so sure this is the terrible signing others are making out. Not sure what sort of pre season he will have had, which could help us. I agree, any player in the championship who is 80% fit will look awful. When Webster has played ten games and got match fit he will be one of the better defenders in the third tier. I have seen him play against some really good forwards in Scotland e.g. Jelavic, Naismith, Hooper, Samaras etc much better than he'll face in League One and he has always done well.
