formerly known as ivan
Keep reading comments about how poor he was today. He didnt have the greatest of games but why is a holding midfielder being played on the right wing? SOD got that badly wrong today and was a massive reason why wolves dominated in the first half. Thought he was much improved when moved into the middle. Im hoping we never see him in the wing again. Think 532 or 352 (however you look at it) will suit these players while we lack natural width. Only problem would be who would play at the back with flint and williams?

Lew-T
Shouldn't of been played on the right wing, simple really. Looked 100% better in the middle! Didn't have that bad of a game

Fiale
Yeah - when he went into the DM role he was able to break up play, with Bryan coming on for Kilkenny it also gave us much more fluidity with Pack, Wynter and Bryan slowly starting to win the midfield war- as Bryan / Wynter was dropping back covering for LB / CB positions when they went forward, as well as giving us an additional attacking option themselves. Kilkenny is useless. The sooner SOD sees that, the better!
Red-Robbo
Can't disagree with the OP. Basically S O'D dropped a bollock with his starting line-up. Kilkenny does not complement Pack either. If Pack's supplying the distribution, what is NK's role?
MATT BCFC
Needs to play in the centre.

MichaelRobartes
Agree with the OP. much better in the middle. Bizarre decision to start him wide but fair play to SOD for not being scared to rectify things early on.
CheddarReds
I think SOD wanted Wynter to help Moloney with Sako but it didn't work at all well, Wynter was a lot better in the middle alongside Pack. Did anyone else see Kilkenny had his head in his hands for until HT after he came off?
EDoubleD
Thought he gave us good width on the left which opened the play up for oack to work the ball wide more. didnt realise he was that quick, but showed good pace. I'd play Bryan left and jet right, then two up front. Otherwise baldocks isolated.
mightyreds89
Yes it's good that SOD is prepared to change things around when it's not working but in my eyes he needs to get it right more often he is doing. That's the last 2 games where we have been tailing at half time and have had to come back. I think there are some promising signs that said. Bowie
Wynter was lost out right and was played their to accommodate Kilkenny. If you want to play Kilkenny then either put Wynter next to him and drop pack or leave Wynter on bench. Regardless of who was in middle. things improved when Bryan & Wagstaff were out wide. Most importantly. 2nd game in a row however that Kilkenny was subbed by the start of the second half and the second half was an improvement on the first. That says more about Kilkenny's part that anything else people can say about his contribution.
Pickle Rick
He wasn't playing on the wing And its not the first time we've played with 4 centre mids under SO'D. Full backs are being used to add width but wasn't quite as effective yesterday. I'm guessing some may be blind to noticing that and also the fact a tactic can be fluid.... Pickle Rick
Agree, he was playing on the right, how could anyone at the match not see that Yea he was on the right, but right wing? No. There is a difference between a winger and wide midfielder.
