fingers
So, no surprises, Wilson has been forced out. There have been many eloquent posts on the forum since last Sunday's debacle focusing on either Wilson Out, or Wilson In. I agree with many of the posters: he's made some very poor decisions in the role, probably ones that have caused us to miss out on promotion. But, quite simply, if we had won on Sunday, Wilson would still be in the job. Whilst I don't disagree with the decision to "part company" with him, we don't usually see managers leave in such a way: it's not as if he's dragged the club backwards. Quite the reverse in fact. So what is he guilty of? Mainly not living up to our expectations. And to be honest, how many football clubs live up to the expectations of their fans? I'm not triumphant about Wilson leaving, nor am I sad. To be honest, I just feel rather empty about it all: a Tommy Doh freekick a couple of feet lower would mean he'd be with us now, (no doubt squandering the Chairman's hard earned cash as we're going!) Anyone else feel this way? EDIT: It's late and I'm getting my days mixed up :Sleep12:

bartolona
But, quite simply, if we had won on Saturday, Wilson would still be in the job. If we won saturday we'd be in the premier league and wilson would be a hero.
